Jennifer Garner, who was born and was raised within Charleston West Virginia, on April 17th, 1973 was born in Houston, Texas. William John Garner served as engineer at Union Carbide. In 2009, Garner became an artist ambassador for Save the Children U.S.A. This includes the advancement of the importance of nutrition, literacy and early education. Garner has served on the board of trustees since 2014. Garner promotes early childhood education. In her role as an ambassador for the organization, Garner often interacts with families that are involved in the organization's Early Steps to School Success program. The program guides parents on ways to support young children to learn.
