Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical thriller The Resident. The actress also won acclaim for her breakthrough television debut in the role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. A few of her most memorable films comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life is an autobiography written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross. Vlas Parlapanides, the author of Immortals, are reportedly working with her on the movie adaptation. The actress is currently filming an upcoming series called Gods & Heroes.
